The Washington Center Seminar

Attended workshops and seminars to expand my knowledge and gain hands-on experience with the work being done. I spoke to various high-level officials such as D.C. influencers from the Hill, news media, think tanks, nonprofits, federal agencies, and lobbying firms to useful information on their role in government.

Miami-Dade beacon council

I attended the Miami Dade Beacon Council Convention. An economic development organization dedicated to fostering growth and prosperity in Miami-Dade County, Florida. November 2023

Phi Theta Kappa Day

I serve as the chapter president to PTK and led our annual PTK week of events. On this day we hosted a scavenger hunt about service and our MDC campus. November 18, 2023

Aspen Institute retreat

I embarked on a four-day retreat to Key-West with Aspen Young Leaders Fellowship to discuss leadership and to commence our community impact project. October 2023

I had the opportunity to introduce keynote speaker President of the Miami Chamber of Commerce, for a Miami Dade College Scholarship Award Ceremony. April 2023

St. Lawrence catholic school

I taught a group of 14 elementary school students Haitian folkloric dance for their annual Haitian Flag-day show. May 2023

Aspen Young leaders fellowship

I was inducted into the Aspen Young Leaders Fellowship. August 2023

Fight for our freedom campaign

I had the opportunity to attend Vice President Kamala Harris's Voting Campaign at the Ocean Bank Convention Center. She spoke about the importance of young voters and bills being passed. September 2023

Exploration station stem room

As Phi Theta Kappa President, I sat on our Honors in Action committee. We decided to create the local preschool a S.T.E.M. room. October 2023

G.a.b.i.e. bus

As Phi Theta Kappa President, we had the opportunity to invite The Great American Bus Interactive Education (G.A.B.I.E.) Bus, is a STEM learning bus that travels to various locations to teach students about agriculture to the Miami-Dade Exploration Station Preschool. November 2023
